“This is a place of hope, this is a place of coming together, this is a place where we can give each other advice and we can also relax, laugh and have fun ourselves without the pressures of the outside world.” – Jasmine Angove

For many of us, our weekly training and weekend matches gives us the opportunity to shed the baggage of our daily lives and disconnect from the world and those who wish to erase our existence. There’s joy in football and there is most definitely joy in being trans and non-binary.

It may be LGBTQ+ History Month, and while we’re grateful for Football v Homophobia’s month of action, we know that trans joy is a year long celebration.  We’re proud of the work we’ve done and looking forward to the work to come.

Thank you to STV and Ronnie Charters for sharing our story and spreading trans joy.

If you’re trans or non-binary and feel like football isn’t for you, it most certainly is. Drop us a DM or email and come to one of our training sessions.

It’s expensive to run a club, our GoFundMe is still active and we’d love it if you could donate, a little goes a long way and all proceeds go to pitch fees, kit and making sure all of our members have access to this all important safe space.
